SWEEPING STILLS

Instantaneous shots I have taken of the fleeting views outside my window via train from Aberdeen to Edinburgh, Glasgow to Aberdeen and back. I took great interest in how these photographs translate as a representation of the passing cities and landmarks, particularly in relation to the fastness and intensity they have in the photographs as the train shot on by. I wanted to capture the flashes of sunlight, glimmering sea and peculiar sights as vibrantly as they had greeted me when I approached them up north.
